Well, it is that time of year again when we start to hustle around to finish all of our Christmas shopping and planning festive get-to- togethers with family and friends. With all the craziness of the holidays, it is nice to have some down time, and what better way than to relax next to a [...]  Christmas is my favourite holiday, and my favourite time of year. There’s nothing like looking forward to the first weekend of December to have that fam-jam sesh to classic Christmas songs while putting up the tree. There’s just so much to look forward to during the month of December! Although I love it all, my favourites [...] We all know holiday shopping can be tedious. You want to show friends and family you care about them during this season, but just can’t get excited about crowded malls, parking lots and line ups! What better way to get a group of loved ones together for a cookie exchange and avoid the malls!? Sharing time [...] It’s that time again, for baking and sharing treats with friends, family and loved ones. Ingredients: The annual DX Gala has come and gone, and as per usual, is still the talk of the town! The annual design event held at the Design Exchange building downtown Toronto with Platinum sponsors AyA Kitchens and Cambria, was held on Saturday November 12th and featured celebrity emcee supermodel Cheryl Tiegs and honourable guest designers [...] Really excited about this new collaboration between between Bedouin Soundclash frontman, Jay Malinowski & Beatrice Martin (Coeur de Pirate). The band is called Armistice and the self titled album is a refreshing change from the ordinary. I have always had a pretty eclectic taste when it comes to music and this is right up [...] The Holidays might have passed but a recipe for a tasty treat is always welcome. During the holiday season my family and I like to make up gift baskets filled with baked goods to share with our friends. One of the treats we like to include is our own homemade caramel [...] Love to bake? Why not make your very own cupcakes from scratch? They are the perfect treat to bring if you are traveling, and small enough to be guilt free, well almost. Have fun with decorating each cupcake as festive as possible and enjoy!
