This past Saturday, AyA hosted its first retail Open House. The Mississauga showroom was abuzz with guests who were eager to learn more about all the different components that go into making their dream kitchens come to life. Throughout our showroom here at Head Office, there were rotational education stations set up. One of the earliest and most interesting initiatives was teaming up with Gordie Warnoff from A Higher Plane. Since 2007 Gordie has taken AyA’s offcuts and created beautiful cutting boards, knife blocks, bowls [...] For this years’ Interior Design Show in Toronto, which ran from Jan.24 – 27, AyA partnered with award winning architect and designer Johnson Chou. The project was met with great interest and enthusiasm by media, trade and retail clients. The editors from Designlines magazine were in attendance and showing their love for all-things-design with their love [...] With just one week to go until showtime, we cannot keep it to ourselves any longer! For this year’s Interior Design Show at the Toronto Convention Center, AyA has teamed up with award winning architect Johnson Chou to create this year’s booth concept; “Base”. Along with some fantastic suppliers showcasing fabulous modern cabinetry for the [...] The Interior Design Show West (IDSwest) was held at the Vancouver Convention Centre from Sept 27-30, 2012. IDSwest is Western Canada’s annual premiere design show featuring 200 exhibitors showcasing quality products and services to an audience of industry professionals, architects, designers, consumers and media. After all the planning and preparation it was finally time to see it [...] The annual DX Gala has come and gone, and as per usual, is still the talk of the town! The annual design event held at the Design Exchange building downtown Toronto with Platinum sponsors AyA Kitchens and Cambria, was held on Saturday November 12th and featured celebrity emcee supermodel Cheryl Tiegs and honourable guest designers [...] The Ontario Home Builders Awards took place on September 22nd, 2011 recognizing projects of excellence in Ontario. Amongst the Awards of Distinction Winners for 2011, was Madison Homes for their condo project “The Madison: W2C” at Yonge and Eglinton. The project was awarded the Most Outstanding High or Mid-Rise Condo Suite, partnering with Munge Leung, [...] February 18th – 27th is this year’s National Home Show at the Direct Energy Center in Toronto. With guest appearances from past AyA Designer partnerships; Glen Peloso and Melissa Davis will be taking to the Urban Stage. Debbie Travis and Ramsin Khachi will also be hosting information segments; just to name a few!
