Designlines shares some love at IDS13

For this years’ Interior Design Show in Toronto, which ran from Jan.24 – 27, AyA partnered with award winning architect and designer Johnson Chou. The project was met with great interest and enthusiasm by media, trade and retail clients.

The editors from Designlines magazine were in attendance and showing their love for all-things-design with their love tags. Each like a thumbs up or stamp of approval, they let their favourite designs be known and awarded 100 of the best products spotted during the show and Toronto design week.

AyA’s booth; BASE, is a seamless blend of form and function which caught the attention of show goers by hiding and revealing cooking areas, sinks, tables and entertainment areas.

Earning some love in the booth was the pivoting table, which some have referred to as the “swiss army-knife” table. With the ability to extend into full seating for dinner parties, or completely conceal the walnut top into the Corian counter, this piece was a big hit and was “loved” by all visitors in the booth, including Designlines, designers and media! We must say, we love it too!
