During the month of March, AyA Kitchens and Baths teamed up with the lovely ladies behind Blogpodium and the Blogpodium Bound Contest was born. Blogpodium, led by Lindsay Stephenson of Little House Blog and Jennifer Flores of Rambling Renovators is the first and only Canadian Conference series for Bloggers. When the opportunity arose to take part, AyA was thrilled!
We have had some great entries, which we thoroughly enjoyed going through and reading about the stories behind all the contestants dream kitchens, but then came the hard part-we had to narrow it down to the winner. All of the entries we received were creative, visually appealing and fun, which didn’t make the decision process very easy! We had to start somewhere, so we narrowed it down to two:
Barbara from Hodge Podge design captured our eye with her moodboard by using her favourite colours, paying tribute to her Czech heritage and incorporating her husband’s hobby into the tea towels to encourage him to take on dish duty! (what a clever idea!) .
Nancy of Marcus Design’s board with the young traditional spin, caught our attention with the elegant colour scheme, great use of brass accents and the incentive to go from “less than fab” cook to Chef! What great inspiration!
So when it came down to selecting a winner, we really couldn’t choose just one. We are proud to announce that we have drawn a tie for the top 2 designs and are flying both Barbara and Nancy to Toronto for the conference!
