Show your support for our Planet on Saturday March 27th 8:30pm (local time) to support this year’s Earth Hour.
Originating in Australia in 2007 and organized by WWF, Earth Hour has become a global event where businesses, families and major landmarks including Toronto’s CN Tower, San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge and the Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia, turn their lights off for one hour to demand action on climate change.
2009′s Earth Hour was the world’s largest global climate change initiative with over 88 countries and 4000 cities participating. Let’s make 2010 one for the record.
Turn your lights, televisions and computers off, light some candles and lead the way to a sustainable future!
Visit the official Earth Hour website for more info and some ideas for fun in the dark! http://www.earthhour.org/Homepage.aspx?intro=no

Get with some friends, continue that great book, or just take some time to reflect. Love your planet and switch off the lights for earth hour 2010.
We played a boardgame by candlelight with our two boys. Before we knew it , it was 10pm. I can’t remember having that much quality time with the kids all at once. A great reason for the boys to stay up late, and participate in a great global cause!
